Biography
Friedrich III., Burgrave of Nürnberg, was born around 1220. He was the oldest son of Konrad I. von Nürnberg and Adelheid von Frontenhausen. He died on August 14, 1297.
In 1246 he married Elisabeth von Meranien, daugther of Otto I. of Merania and Beatrix von Staufen. They had 5 children:
- Johann
- Siegmund
- Maria
- Adelheid
- Elisabeth
In 1275 he married Helene von Sachsen, daughter of Albrecht I. von Sachsen and Helene von Braunschweig. They had 3 children with:
- Johann I.
- Anna
- Friedrich IV.
