Christopher was born in 1576. He was the son of Richard Pierson and Alison Bushbie. He passed away in 1602. [1]

Research Notes
Notes on looking for sources - no baptism or burial found on Ancestry, Find my Past, FreeReg or FamilySearch. Christopher appears in 27 Ancestry trees with these dates but no sources. Some show his parents as Richard Pearson and Joann Harwood.
Many Ancestry trees show a burial 7 February 1635 at Howden but this is for a John Pearson of Howden in the register.[2]
No burial found at Guiseley. Registers for the year 1602 are missing. Guiseley is over 50 miles away and may be shown for Christopher's burial as his brother Thomas has a burial there. However there is nothing to show that Thomas Pearson of Asselby is the same person as Thomas Pearson who married at Guiseley. The surname is a very common one and the places over 50 miles apart. Guiseley registers do not survive before 1588 so there would be no baptism record for Thomas if he was born there.
Possible marriage 2 October 1597 at Howden, but this is Christopher Pearson of Howden not Asselby.[3][4]
