Biography

Nathaniel Boulter was born in 1761 in Scarborough, Maine. His parents were Nathaniel Boulter and Ruth (Sprague) Boulter^[1].

He married Martha Higgins on 8 Apr 1790 in Standish, Maine. They had two children^[2]:

1. Hannah, born Jul 1791; married Thomas Smith

2. Royal, born ca. 1793, died during the Battle of Plattsburgh in 1814

Martha did not pass away until 1813, but Nathaniel was married a second time to Eliza Linnell on 20 February 1794 in Standish. They had seven children^[3]:

Nathaniel passed away on 2 November 1840 and is buried in Boulter Cemetery in Standish^[4].
