Biography

Zera Hitchcock was born in May 25, 1776 in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. ^[1] Zera's father was Silas Hitchcock and his mother was Mary (Hannah) Taylor. Zera married Catherine Coone. Zera passed away in March 18, 1852 in Cambridge, Vermont. ^[2]

He went to Vermont and from there to northern New York. He was probably the Zeni Hitchcock who was enumerated on the 1800 census at Washington County, New York.
