Notes

I think one of the reasons Thomas Wooten has been suggested as husband of Maryann Sandifer is because he got a land patent for land in the Oaken Swamp which adjoined John Sandifer. Thomas Wooten's patent was in Warwick County, so I am assuming it was next to or straddled the boundary with York, or possibly the other way around and that John Sandever's York Patent was next to or straddled the Warwick County line. Either way works.
I see in the Charles Parish Records (Ancestry.com) that Thomas Wooten and wife Judith were parents of Elizabeth, born June 6, 1680. Other than that, there aren't many Wootens in the Charles Parish Registers until later (1727-1774), and none mentioning Richard Wooten. Perhaps the early Wootens were in Denbigh Parish. I don't know if any records from Denbigh Parish exist any where. Do you know anything about Denbigh Parish records?
From John Sandifer/Sandivor's 1685/86 will (proved 1691/92), it is proven he had grandsons at that time (1685/86 when he wrote his will) named grandsons John and Daniel Wooten, but what I am starting to wonder, is rather or not they really were the children of Maryann or if there was perhaps a deceased daughter who had married a Wooten.
There was a 1745 York County document that specifically details Mary Anne as the daughter of John Sandiver and goes so far as to say that Mary Anne and brother John were the "only" children of John Sandiver, and were brother and sister of "the whole blood." This document goes on to say that she intermarried with William Cook and they were the parents of William Cook "the lessor, her eldest son and heir at law, who attained the age of 21 sometime in 1709." This document was cited as YORK COUNTY DEEDS, ORDERS, WILLS ETC. AND INVENTORIES (series). Lewes, DE: Colonial Roots. P. 384, which I found in COLONIAL FAMILIES OF YORK COUNTY, VIRGINIA, VOL. 1, by Christopher DeMarco, Ph.D., Colonial Roots, Lewes Delaware, 2006, p. 139.
Going back to the Charles Parish Records (Ancestry.com), I find the following:
COOKE ELIZABETH, dau. of William by Maryane, b. Sept. 25, 1687
COOKE WILLIAM, son of William by Maryanne, b. Oct. 12, 1689
COOK WILLIAM, son of William by Maryan, b. July 28, (1699)
The above records may indicate a William Cook with two different wives named Maryann, or two different William Cooks with wife Maryann. ???? If Maryann/Mary Anne Sandifer was married to William Cook/Cooke and they were having children born on the above dates, how could she also then be the mother of George Wooten, b. 1690, and James Wooten born 1698. I do question, also, why there would be a gap of 8 years between the birth of Daniel Wooten, born 1681 and George Wooten, b. abt. 1690 (also another 8 year gap before James Wooten is born in 1698). At this point, I am greatly confused!!!
As I said before, I am not a Wooten descendant, but a Sandifer descendant. I have not been able to prove it, but have quite a bit of circumstantial evidence that suggests I descend from Maryann's brother, John. I would like to enter accurate information regarding his sister, Maryann into my files, but I don't yet know what is accurate.

Wooten-1452 and Wooten-560 appear to represent the same person because: they share similar vital statistics and the same spouse, Mary Ann Sandiver. See the notes under son George Wooten for indication of parentage.
