Biography

Melinda Terfry was born about 1843, the daughter of Mark Terfry and Olivia Kelley of Hantsport, Nova Scotia[1]

On December 1, 1863, she married Morton Ward[2][1] of Boston, Mass and had 5 children, including

  1. Annie, born 1864, who died in 1869[3]
  2. Elizabeth Olivia, born 1867[4]
  3. Alwiltha, born 1869[5]
  4. Ellen Helena, born 1871[6]
  5. Mark Albert Ward, born 1872[7]

Trefry-173 and Terfry-112 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicates resulting from various spellings of this surname in this branch of the family.
