BESSIE M. SLOCOMB Mrs. Bessie May Slocomb, widow of the late Jacob Slocomb, passed away March 28, 1966, at the Oak Lodge Manor Rest Home, Hopedale, Mass. She was born at Port Lorne, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late George and Theresa (Wood) Sanford. She resided in Milford, Mass., for 33 years. She leaves to mourn their loss two daughters, Mrs. Alice Jarvis of Milford, Mass., Mrs. Elizabeth Brooks, Worchester, Mass., six grandchildren, one half brother Ralph Tooker, Annapolis Royal, one brother Charlie Sanford, Lynn Mass., one sister, Mrs. Clyde Spidle, Port George, N.S. Funeral Service was held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Herman Gerrish, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Vernon Grove cemetery.^[3]
