Biography
A Hessian Calvary solider fighting for the English, he arrived in Philadelphia and later deserted to join the Americans. After war settled in Lancaster Co., PA, working as a Cobbler. Moved to what was then Westmoreland Co., PA (later Butler Co.) in 1797. Father of eight.
