Biographie

Pierre, fils d'Édouard LEGRIS dit aussi LÉPINE et d'Esther DUBOIS, est né le 13 juillet 1834 et baptisé le lendemain à St-Louis-de-France (auj. Terrebonne). [1]

Le 29 octobre 1855 en l'Église de la Paroisse St-François-de-Sales (auj. Laval), il épouse Rosalie CORBEIL, fille d'Amable CORBEIL et de Rosalie LAUZON. [2] Leurs enfants connus sont (Source: IGD):

[8] Au Mariage d'Athalie, cette année-là, Pierre est dit "cultivateur en la Paroisse St-Félix-de-Valois de Chénéville, Comté de Papineau", de même qu'en 1895 au Mariage de Rosalie.

Selon sa Fiche sur Familysearch, il serait décédé le 1er Novembre 1911 à Tupper Lake, Altamont, Franklin, New York.

Legris-52 and LeGris-137 appear to represent the same person because: All of our information matches. Pierre's father was Edouard Legris, my 3rd Great Grandfather. Pierre's son was Joseph Albert Legris (Lagray once they moved to the US and tried to "Americanize" the name) who was my 2nd Great Grandfather. His daughter was my Great Grandmother whom I have many memories off :)

Do you have any information on Pierre's wife? Pierre is my 3rd Great Uncle (his father my 3rd G Grandfather) and I've been trying to figure out where the discrepancies start in my tree for his wife. I believe her name was Henriette (Hattie) Dussiaume or Jussiaume. Thank you!
