Biography
There were only 2 Lawrence families producing children in Wrentham in the years between 1715 and 1720, Ebenezer, Sr. and wife Mary, and David and wife Bethiah. Ebenezer and Mary had a daughter named Rececca whose birth seems not to have been recorded, but who died in 1735. This would eliminate the possibility that they had another daughter of that same name before 1735 who died long after 1735. Thus, it seems reasonable to conclude that David and Bethiah were the parents of the Rebecca of this profile. However, it must be noted that in the will of John Rockett, father of Bethiah Lawrence, dated 1730, he names the children of his deceased daughter, and only David Lawrence and Bethia Lawrence are named.[1]

This profile seems to assert she was born in Wrentham. Is there any evidence of this, or is it a guess? She probably was not the daughter of David and Bethia (Rockett) Lawrence of Wrentham, as her maternal grandfather lists the children of Bethia by name in his 1730 will (she was deceased), and Rebecca is not listed.
