Tried to send you portions from "The Autobiography of Sir John Bramston the Younger" regarding his step-mother Elizabeth Brabazon.

No luck, I could send them to you email. You can find some info on their FAG Memorials, John #205381976, Elizabeth #205381832. Some incorrect info on your WikiTree for John of Ashley. Regards, Ken Duncan

Hi Kenneth

The Find a Grave Memorial has this John Brereton confused with John Brereton, son of William Lord Brereton, Lord Baron of Loughlyn.

John Brereton, son and heir-apparent of Sir William Brereton, Kt., married Anne Fytton, daughter of Edward Fitton, Esq. [Licence confirming clandestine marriage], here's the record of their marriage on 14 March 1610: https://archive.org/details/recordsocietyfo04chesgoog/page/n90/mode/2up.

The funeral certificate of Sir John Brereton, Knight, son and heir to William Lord Brereton, Lord Baron of Loughlyn, who departed this life at Brereton, in the County of Chester, upon the 28 December, 1929, which confirms that he was married to Anne, not Elizabeth, and John and Anne had children, is here: https://archive.org/details/cheshireandlanc00britgoog/page/n72/mode/1up.

I found "The Autobiography of Sir John Bramston the Younger." It contains no details about the John Brereton who was the second husband of Elizabeth Brabazon, apart from him being dead before August 1631, when Elizabeth married John Bramston. It does say that Elizabeth had no children from her first two marriages on page 35: https://archive.org/details/trent_0116401962026/page/35/mode/1up. So those children on the Find a Grave memorial are not the children of John Brereton and Elizabeth Brabazon. His parents are not correct nor are his siblings.

Maryann
