Robert was the son of Sir John Keith and Jean Stewart.[1]
Robert died in 1401.[2]

The Scots Peerage entries for the Keiths of this period have in part been overtaken by information that has come to light since, including what is said in the Aberdeen Cathedral Breviary[2] and research by Andrew MacEwen.[1][3]
