She d., Sept. 4, 1782. and he d., Nov. 6, 1783, s. p. By his will, dated Oct. 3, 1783, after numerous small bequests to his other relatives, he gave his homestead estate to Stephen Whitney, who md. Relief Stearns (332), niece to Col. Abijah Stearns, and dau. of Josiah Stearns (118)].[2]
