According to Dashwood she was 10 in 1543 and dead in 1580 when her husband died.
Through her, her descendants had a claim on the Barony of Hastings, though his family did not achieve success in this matter when it came to parliamentary inquiry. (Walter Rye and other genealogists believed this judgement to be flawed.) The commission's proceedings can be found online and contain a lot of genealogical detail.
Oestmann points out that this marriage may have been "determined by mutual affection", the couple having known each other in childhood. In fact, Elizabeth's family had lived in the Le Strange household, her mother being a sister to Hamon's grandfather, Thomas. Thomas's father Robert seems to have had Elsing, a Hastings manor, as his own main residence until 1511 (p.15), as he was never lord of the manor of Hunstanton himself. The use of several Hastings manors came as part of the marriage agreement for his daughter. In general the two families were very close.
One reason for thinking the marriage was one based on affection is that the Brown family eventually won a large settlement against Hamon, having had the wardship of Elizabeth and having planned to marry her to one of their own.

Hamon's will is Strange, Hamond Ie, of Hunstanton 1580 NCC will register Moyse 149. It mentions his brother John Lestrange; his son Roger Bozoun, who has unmarried daughters Elizabeth, Anne and Katherine, and a son Robert Bozoun; two sons Nicholas and Roger Lestrange; another son Thomas (who is executor along with Roger Bozoun and Hamon's brother John), and others.
Oestmann (p.26) says that "Hamon and Elizabeth had several children, three of whom did not survive their infancy or childhood". Oestmann believes that the estate was strengthened by Hamon not spending time in politics.
