Margaret Carnegie was born about 1642 the daughter of John Carnegie and Elizabeth Ogilvy
Margaret married Sir David Ramsay 2nd Baronet of Balmain and 4th Laird, son of Sir Gilbert Ramsay 1st Baronet of Balmain and Grizel Durham.1 (Sir David Ramsay 2nd Baronet of Balmain and 4th Laird was born about August 1595 and died in September 1673 3.)

I think that Margaret was daughter by John Carnegie's second marriage ( Graham of Claverhouse's daughter) by who he had a son Alexander and two daughters.

Not sure the parentage is correct here - Margaret Carnegie born 1595 could not be the child of Robert Carengie and Margaret Guthrie born in 1493.
