Nathan was the son of Daniel Warner and Bethia Gining, early members of the Moravian congregation at Sichem in the Oblong, Dutchess County, New York. Together with the rest of his family he moved to the Moravian settlement at Gnaden Huetten, near Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in the late 1760s. He died 26 August 1802.
