Biography

The son of Sir John Molesworth, 5th Baronet Molesworth of Pencarrow, Cornwall.

Molesworth was educated at Eton College and St John's College, Oxford.

Sir William Molesworth, 6th Baronet was elected MP for Cornwall 1784-1790.

Upon his death the Barontetcy passed to his son Arscott Ourry Molesworth.

Sir William Molesworth, 6th Bt. M, #285602, b. 30 June 1758, d. 22 February 1798[1] Sir William Molesworth, 6th Bt. was born on 30 June 1758. He was the son of Sir John Molesworth, 5th Bt. and Frances Smyth. He married Caroline Treby Ourry, daughter of Admiral Paul Henry Ourry and Charity Treby, on 27 May 1786. He died on 22 February 1798 at age 39. He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Molesworth, of Pencarrow, Cornwall [E., 1689] on 20 October 1775. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cornwall between 1784 and 1790.[2] Children of Sir William Molesworth, 6th Bt. and Caroline Treby Ourry. 1.Frances Molesworth b. 21 Nov 1787. 2.Sir Arscott Ourry Molesworth, 7th Bt. b. 1789, d. 30 Dec 1823. 3.Reverend William Molesworth b. 5 Nov 1792, d. 28 Mar 1851. 4.Caroline Molesworth b. 4 Nov 1794.

Justice of the Peace?

Justice of the Peace for Truro, there are a nb of William Molesworth's: could be this one, his son Rev William Molesworth (1792-1851) or alternatively his Grandson William Molesworth (1810-1855). [3]
