Samuel Huntington was an American jurist who was the third governor of Ohio from 1808 to 1810.
When his mother Hannah passed away in 1771, Samuel Huntington (1731-1765), brother of her husband Joseph Huntington, and his wife Martha Devotion, her sister, adopted 2 of her children - Samuel H. Huntington and Frances Huntington.
Samuel was born in 1765. He passed away in 1817.
