Maria (Hamilton) Beckford is Notable.

Maria Hamilton was the daughter of the Hon George Hamilton, MP for Wells, and his wife Bridget Coward. She was born on 7 January 1724/5 at Wells, Somerset.^[1]

She married twice. Her first husband was Francis March, by whom she had a daughter Elizabeth. In 1756 she was married for a second time to William Beckford, Lord Mayor of London in 1763 and 1770 and MP for London, by whom she had a son William.^[1]

She died at her house at West-end, Hampstead, Middlesex, on 22 July 1798.^[1]
