Biagio Guccione was born about 1738 in or near Alia, Sicilia, Regno delle Due Sicilie, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Guccione who were born about 1713, and who might appear as children on the 1714 Riveli Census of Alia or Valledolmo, Sicilia.

Biagio Guccione married Giuseppa Di Bella about 1762 and had at least three children:

1. Antonino Sebastiano Guccione, born 1763, who married three or four times and who passed away September 6, 1847 at the age of 84 years old.
2. Giachino Guccione born about 1767.
3. Francesco Guccione, born 1774, who married Anna Maria Runfola before 1820, and had children.
