Margaret was not listed with the family in the Rusk County, TX census dated 15 Aug 1870. I assume that she had passed away before that date and not just away from home as the younger children were at home.

Margaret Francis Plumlee, born circa 1828 in White County, Tennessee. She was the third known child to be born to Denton and Martha (Mays) Plumlee.
She married John Key in about 1846, most likely in Newton County, Missouri. He was born in 1812 or 1813 in South Carolina, a son of Owen and Rachel Key. John Key had married once before, his first wife's name is unknown (see added note #1 by Dale Key), and they had two children; Washington Key (see added note #2 by Dale W. Key), born circa 1840 in Tennessee and Malinda Key, born circa 1843.
After their marriage, John and Margaret (Plumlee) Key resided in Newton County, Missouri. On the 1 January 1856 they sold their 40 acres of land to Robert Mays Plumlee, Margaret's brother. (See deed that follows) (See added note #3 by Dale W. Key). It was between this time and 1860 that they moved down to Parker County, Texas and made their final home.
Margaret (Plumlee) Key died in the 1870's in Parker County, Texas. Her husband died in the 1880's in Parker County Texas. Both were buried at the Rock Springs Cemetery, one mile east of present day Peaster, in Parker County, Texas. Unfortunately, as with her parents, their graves are unmarked and the exact location of where they are buried is unknown.
John and Margaret (Plumlee) Key had 6 known children born to their union, but without doubt there were others who died at childbirth or at an early age. An unknown number of young Key children are also buried at the Rock Springs Cemetery, either in unmarked graves or with graves only marked with native rocks.
