In 1795, Jonathan and Elizabeth moved to Bakerstown, now Minot, Maine, where he served as pastor until his death (and conducted another 113 marriages)[2]
Reverend Jonathan Scott died October 15, 1819. His widow Elizabeth (Bass) Scott died at Minot May 14, 1843, at age 90[2], and was buried in the Scott Family graveyard in Minot[5]
