He was the son of Robert Arthur Talbot Gascoyne-Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Salisbury and Georgina Alderson.[1]He was born on the 23rd of October 1861.[1]He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.[1]He married the Lady Cicely Alice Gore, daughter of Arthur Saunders William Charles Fox Gore, 5th Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands and the Lady Edith Elizabeth Henrietta Jocelyn, on 17 May 1887.[2]At St. George Hanover Square, London, England.[3]He died on the 4th of April 1947 at the age of 85,[1]citing Death, Westminster, London, England.[4]
