Catharine, daughter of J M Bingham, was born on 21 May 1771 and baptised on 21 June 1771 in Birchanger, Essex, England.^[1]

Catherine married Charles Hippuss on 2 December 1803 in Birchanger, Essex, England. He was a widower.^[2]

Catherine died in 1808 and was buried in Birchanger, Essex, England.^[3]

St Mary the Virgin's Church Stansted Montfichet, Essex. On the south wall memorial to: Charles Hippuff, esquire, late of Sion House, in this parish, and Birchin-lane, London; died 28th November, 1815, aged 68. Catherine, his wife, died 30th July, 1808, aged 37. "Inscription White trapezium shaped sarcophagus with moulded and stepped lid, draped urn above and draped apron below, all on black surround. // In memory of CHARLES HIPPUFF Esqr / late of Sion House, in this parish / and of Birchin Lane, in the City of London / who, during a life actively engaged in the anxious pursuits of business / maintained an unsullied reputation / and was as universally respected for his integrity and honour / as beloved for the benevolence of his disposition / and the generosity of his heart / He died at Brighton, after a long illness, the 28th Novr. 1815, in the 68th year of his age / and his remains are deposited on the north side of this church / Also in memory / of CATHERINE, wife of the above CHARLES HIPPUFF / and youngest daughter of the Revd J.M. BINGHAM / late Rector of this parish / who died the 30th of July 1808, in the 37th year of her age / deeply and deservedly lamented /"
