Mary Francis Bryan was the first born child to David H Bryan (1870-1937) and Mary Cora Burleigh (1871-1960) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Her siblings were William Bryan (1902-1994), John Bryan (1905-1961), Helen Bryan (1908-1987) and Virginia Bryan (1912-1993).
In the mid-1920s the family moved to East Los Angeles, California.
She married Joseph Austin Foster (1903-1992), a carpenter from Idaho. They had 4 children. They divorced in the early 1940s.
Mary Francis died on March 6, 1962 in Los Angeles behind the wheel while renewing her drivers license. She is buried in Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, CA.
