Born 15 May 1935, in Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts. One of six children born to Harold Francis King, Sr. & Florence Dorothy King (same surname). Orphaned after deaths of father (1942) and mother (1943) and lived in Nazareth Home for Boys, Leicester, MA. until finishing 8th grade. Lived with two older married brothers in 1949-1953. Drafted in the U.S. Army in 1958-1960, and trained with XVIII Airbone Corps in Fayetteville, N.C. Resumed employment with Union Pacific Railroad Co. in Omaha, NE. (40 yr. career) after discharge. Occupations: male stenographer for V.P. & Pres. of the Railroad, & Mgrs. of Labor Relations & Real Estate Depts. Married in 1967 and have two children. Retired from the railroad in December 1992. Have been a genealogical enthusiast for 10+ years.
