James Knox Polk Hindman was born in Jackson County, Alabama on September 6, 1844 to James and Margaret Hindman.[1][2]
In about 1866 he married Eliza Wilson and had four children.[3][4]
Apparently, his first wife died and September 18, 1882 he married Seana Winifred Wafer. They had four children together.[5][6][7]
James died on August 14, 1933 in Ardmore, Carter County, Oklahoma and is buried in Chillicothe Cemetery in Hardeman County, Texas. He was a Methodist Pastor and a Confederate Soldier.[8][9][10]
