Winslow Bridgham was born on November 21, 1890 in St. Albans>, an only child.
In 1910, 19-year-old Winslow Bridgham lived in the household of his father, Frank E. Bridgham on Libby St. in Pittsfield, where Winslow was a weaver in a woolen mill.
Winslow Bridgham married Inez Faye Chapman, both of Pittsfield, on August 19, 1911. She was born on October 27, 1890 in Pittsfield, the daughter of John and Delia (Norris) Chapman. John was born in England. Inez worked as a nurse from 1912 through 1918 (at least).
In 1917, he was an automobile repairman, and lived at 11 Libby St. in Pittsfield. Prior to WWI, he was a corporal and company clerk for two years in the National Guard. He was of medium height and build, with blue eyes and brown hair. He claimed a draft exemption to support his wife and child.
His marriage to Inez Chapman was reported in an Augusta newspaper,
"Winslow Bridgham, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Bridgham of this town, and Miss Inez Chapman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Chapman of this place were quietly married Saturday evening on Newport at the home of Rev. and Mrs. B. W. Russell. After spending a short time at Camp Benson, where they are camping out, the young couple will return to Pittsfield where he has employment at the Pioneer mill."
In 1920, 29-year-old Winslow Bridgham rented his home at 15 Libby St. in Pittsfield, where he was a machinist in a garage. Living with him were his 29-year-old wife Inez, who was a laborer in a woolen mill, and 7-year-old daughter Nedre [sic], who attended school.
In 1926, he was in business with a partner named “Robertts.” Among other things, they sold Goodrich tires.
In 1930, 39-year-old Winslow Bridgham rented his home for $22.50 a month at 25 ____ St. in Pittsfield, where he was a garage operator. His household did not have a radio set. He was not a veteran of any U. S. war. His first marriage was at the age of 20. Living with him was his 39-year-old wife, Inez, first married at age 20. Her father was born in England. Also living with them were their 17-year-old daughter, Nedra P., and his parents, Frank E. and Myra H. Bridgham.
In 1935 and 1940, Winslow Bridgham rented a house for $12 a month at 39 Lancey St. in Pittsfield. He worked fulltime as an auto mechanic in a garage, earning $1300 in 1939. Living with him were his wife, Inez, and his parents, Frank and Miriam Bridgham. Both Winslow and Inez had completed high school.
Inez Bridgham died in January of 1973, probably in Pittsfield, at the age of 82.
Winslow Bridgham died in November of 1981, probably in Pittsfield, at the age of 72.
According to his World War I draft registration card, he was of medium height and build, with blue eyes and brown hair.

The marriage of Winslow Bridgham and Miss Inez Faye Chapman took place at the Methodist parsonage in Newport, Saturday, Aug. 19. Rev. B. W. Russell, formerly pastor of the Manson Street Methodist church of this town officiated, using the single ring ceremony. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Chapman and is a graduate of Maine Central Institute. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bridgham and is emloyed by the Robert Dobson company. The young couple have many friends among the young people of this village who will extend congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. Bridgham will spend their honeymoon at Lake Sebasticook where they have gone into camp with Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Melvin also of this town.

Winslow Bridgham, of Co. A, Second Regiment of Infantry, N. G. S. M., was promoted to Corporal on March 14, 1914.

Winslow Bridgham, a member of the Co. A. N. G. S. M., who was obliged to return home from Augusta on account of illness, is quite sick at the home of Mrs. Bridgham's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Chapman, where Mrs. Bridgham is also ill.

Winslow Bridgham's garage on Hunnewell Avenue was broken into some time Saturday night, the break not being discovered until Sunday. About $24 was taken from the cash register and a number of tires were packed to take, but apparently the thieves were frightened away. No trace has been found as yet.

Pittsfield -- Winslow Bridgham, 90, died Sunday evening at a Pittsfield hospital following a long illness. He was born in St. Albans, Nov. 21, 1890, son of Frank E. and Miriam H. (Seekins) Bridgham.
He had been a lifelong resident of Pittsfield. He worked as a weaver at the American Woolen Co. for many years, and was also employed as an auto mechanic for Niman J. Karam. He was married to the former Inez [Chapman] who died in 1973.
