Biography

Margaret (Adair) Richey was a Latter Day Saint pioneer.

Margaret Ann Adair was born on February 7, 1804 in Laurens, South Carolina, United States, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Adair (1771–~1856) and Rebecca Brown (1784–1846).[1]

Margaret (16) married William Richey (24) (born on February 1, 1796 in South Carolina) on February 10, 1820 in Pickens, Alabama, United States. Their children were:

In 1850, Margaret (46) Richie was living in Utah, Utah Territory. [2]

Margaret died on February 10, 1852 in Manti, Sanpete, Utah Territory, aged 48. She was buried in Manti Cemetery, Manti, Sanpete County, Utah.[3] [1]
