Biography

Radford Nicholson was enumerated as head of the household at Boyd, Transylvania County, North Carolina for the May 2, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1881 in North Carolina and had been married for seven years. He was an overseer of a general farm and a renter as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Millie Nicholson, son George Nicholson, son Charles Nicholson and son John Nicholson.[1]

Rayford N Nicholson was enumerated as head of the household at French Broad Street, Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina for the January 22, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1881 in North Carolina. He was married, an owner and a proprietor of a shoe shop as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Millie M Nicholson, son George R Nicholson, son Charles B Nicholson, son John J Nicholson, son Harrell E Nicholson, daughter Elza M Nicholson, son Robert M Nicholson, son Thomas W Nicholson and daughter Elizabeth M Nicholson.[2]

Radford Nicholson was listed as the father of Roland Burleson Nicholson who was born January 28, 1925 in Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina.[3]

On April 1, 1935, Rad Nichalson lived at Walnut Hollow Road, Dunns Rock Township, Transylvania County, North Carolina.[4]

Rad Nichalson was enumerated as head of the household at Walnut Hollow Road, Dunns Rock Township, Transylvania County, North Carolina for the April 29, United States Census, 1940. He was noted as born 1881 in North Carolina and married. He rented a home and was a farmer as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Lillie Nichalson, son Robert Nichalson, son Raymond Nichalson, daughter Elizabeth Nichalson and son Roland Nichalson.[4]
