Elizabeth was born in 1806, in Virginia. Her parents are unknown.

On 25 Jul 1818, in Sussex, Virginia, she married Hartwell Harwell (~1777-1824; son of Richard and Phoebe Harwell)^[1]. They had no children.

Hartwell died in 1824, in Sussex.

On 3 Jun 1827, in Hardeman, Tennessee, she married Samuel Jordan Cabell Jr^[2]. They settled in Franklin, Virginia, where they had 7 children.

Samuel passed away in Dec 1845, before their daughter Elvira was born (stillborn).

Elizabeth married again, on 23 Sep 1847, in Franklin, to Maurice H. Langhorne^[3]. They stayed in Franklin but had no children together.

Maurice died in 1865. She then went to live with her daughter Emma and her family, still in Franklin. She passed away in 1875. She is buried at the Tanyard Cemetery.
