Biography

Ellis Arnall is Notable.

Ellis Arnall was the son of Joseph Gibbs and Bessie Arnold. He was Georgia's youngest Attorney General and he served as the second Governor of Georgia from Newnan. He was very progressive and made many changes to the Georgia Constitution and established the University Regents system.

He married Mildred Slemons and they had 1 child.

He died in 1992 in Atlanta and was brought home to be buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, Georgia.
