Biography

Theodore was born in Kreis, Lauenburg, Pomerania, Germany[1] to John and Matilda (Albrecht) Noffke on January 29, 1863.

He married Wilhelmina Florentine Kruetz in 1885.[2]

Theodore, Wilhelmina, and their first three children boarded the ship, "Columbia" and traveled from Hamburg to the New York on 19 Apr 1890,[3][4][5] The Noffke family settled in Detroit, Michigan.[6]

When Wilhelmina died on August 4, 1901, Theodore was left with eight children to raise.

On 7 Jun 1903, Theodore remarried Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Viol) Buppert who brought her seven children to the marriage.

Theodore died on 27 Apr 1951 and was buried in Gethsemane Cemetery in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. [28]
