Biography
Clairborn Tiffin, son of Henry Tiffin II and Mary (Kincheloe) Tiffin, was born on 8 Dec. 1810 at Washington County, Tennessee.[1]
He married Mary "Polly" Graves, daughter of John Graves and Elizabeth "Betty" (Beeson) Gorman Graves, on February 28, 1830 in Blount, Alabama.[1]
He was a farmer when he and Mary appeared on the census of 16 Dec. 1850 at De Kalb County, Alabama.[2]
Clariborn died in 1852 in Guntersville, Marshall County Alabama and was buried at Union Cemetery also known as Pendergrass Cemetery, Kirbytown, Marshall County, Alabama. His memorial has links to those of family members.[1]
