Biography
Sylvester was born in 1826 to William and Mary Swain of Alabama. Sometime before 1851, he moved to Rusk County, Texas, where he married Bedy (Beda) Whitton. They lived in East Texas the rest of his life. He passed away in 1907 and is burried in the Little Family Cemetery on land known as Brachfield, currently owned Sylvester's descendants in the Welch & Bynum families.

Swain-2548 and Swain-1287 appear to represent the same person because: This is another one that I didnt realize already existed, when I created mine. Wikitree doesnt seem to be pulling up matches correctly when I start to create new profiles.
