Biography
George was born on 29 July 1772. He was the son of Hugh Massy, 2nd Baron Massy of Duntrileague and Catherine Taylor.
He married Elizabeth Scanlan, daughter of Michael Scanlan and Elizabeth Wheeler, in December 1791.
Children of Hon. George Eyre Massy and Elizabeth Scanlan:
Reverend George Michael Massy (d. 20 Nov 1863), Edward Massy (d. 17 Nov 1835), Major John Massy (d. 22 Jan 1862), Elizabeth Massy (d. 1826), Catherine Massy (d. 10 Nov 1881), Mary Anne Massy and Hugh Massy (b. 1796, d. 28 Feb 1881).
He died on 29 January 1842 at age 69.
