Moses (Forsyth) Forsythe is a member of the Forsyth Name Study Project.

Moses Danville was born in 1852, the son of Robert and Dorcas Forsythe in Forks Plantation, Maine.In the 1860 census Moses (age 8) was in The Forks Plantation, Somerset, Maine.^[1]In the 1870 census Moses (age 18), Farm Laborer, was in Forks Plantation, Somerset, Maine.^[2]

He married Elizabeth Burwood in 1878.^[3] In the 1900 census Moses (age 48), Carpenter, was the married head of household in Township 1, Maricopa, Arizona Territory.^[4]In the 1910 census Moses (age 59), Carpenter, was the widowed head of household in San Jose Ward 4, Santa Clara, California, United States.^[5]He died 7 Oct 1939 and was buried in Oakhill Cemetery, Oakhurst, Madera county, California.^[6][7]
