Biography

Toussaint Georges Desmarets, son of Georges Desmarets and Marie Francoise Fontenot, was baptized on 15 March 1801. His baptism was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, St. Landry Parish, Lower Louisiana Territory, New France.[1]

He married Celeste Guillory, daughter of Claude Elie Guillory and Francoise Josephine Hebert, on 21 September 1824, and their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church.[2]
