Rider, died Sunday of heart failure after a long and painful illness. Mrs. Rider was born at Hartford, Conn., March 20, 1857, her maiden name being Taylor. She was married to Mr. Rider at Spring Valley, May 11, 1879, and besides a husband and a very large circle of friends, she leaves six children, four boys and two girls, to mourn the loss of a loving wife, a devoted mother and a true friend. CONT CONT The funeral was held from the house near Kinkead cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Geo. E. Soper, assisted by Rev. M.D. Reeves of Parkers Prairie, step-father of Mr. Rider, officiating. Many floral tributes both at the house and grave were offered, among them was a beautiful wreath from the Daughters of Veterans. Her sister, Mrs. Ed. McFarlane, of Parkers Prairie and her mother from Wisconsin were present at the funeral.
