Biography

Daniel Gassett was born in 1698 in Taunton, Massachusetts to Henri Gasset/Gachet and Sara Haskins. He married Hannah Walker in 1728. They had 12 children in 24 years. He died in 1749 in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, at the age of 51.

• It is mysterious however how he could have been the father of the youngest son Reuben since Daniel is claimed to have died in 1849 and Reuben is claimed to have been born in 1754.
