Biography

Benjamin4, (Samuel3, Joseph2, Thomas1) born Aug 3, 1718; died Apr 25, 1810. Married Oct 9, 1754, Prudence Melvin of Carlisle, Massachusetts [b. about 1718; died Sept 8, 1784]. He came to New Ipswich before 1754. He was a worthy man whose daily life testified to the reality of his religious convictions, perhaps more clearly than his constant attendance at church, noticeable even in those early days, and still maintained when in later years, his eyesight had failed and he groped his way along Safford lane and the old country road, to the meeting-house upon the hill. There are seven children listed. ^[1]

Benjamin was born in 1718. He passed away in 1810.
