Biography
Cheryl Patten was born 8 October 1823, in Surry, Hancock County, Maine. She was the daughter of John Patten (1797-1861) and Mary Polly (Tourtellot) Patten (1800-1831).[1]
Charlotte married John Hilman Burgess on 3 August 1840, in Dorchester, Massachusetts.[2]
In 1850, the family is living in Dorchester, Massachusetts. John is a laborer.
