Biography

Anna was born in 1849 as the daughter of Jacob Malmgren and Carrie Brodin. [1]

She went with her parents when the family emigrated to North America in 1868.[2]

Like them she ended up in Saline County, Kansas. She was married To Erick Lindstrom in the beginning of the 1870s. The parish record for the Smolan Salemsborg Lutheran Church states that she came to America in 1868 and arrived from Galesburg in 1869.[3]

The family lived in Falun township[4] where the Lutheran parish was founded in 1887.[5][6]

Anna Catharina died in 1904.[7][8] There are ten of their children buried with Eric and Anna (mostly dead in infancy).
