Biography

Susanna Carolina was born in Tönshammar 1854 as the daughter of Jacob Malmgren and Karin Brodin. [1] She went with her parents when the family emigrated to North America in 1868.[2]

She married her father's cousin Anders (Andrew) Malmgren around 1875. They lived in Falun, Kansas.[3]

Andrew and Sussanna with their two eldest children became full members of the Lindsborg Swedish Methodist Church in 1892.[4]

Andrew and Sussanna Carolina may have had as many as ten children - no, it's the census 1900 that has the wrong names for two daughters; they had eight children.[5]

In 1930 widow Caroline S Malmgren lived with her daughter Olga and granddaughter Leona Lindblom.[6]

Susanna passed away in Falun, Kansas in 1933 and is buried with her husband.[7]
