Note: on the 1860 US Census, the household also lists a William M. Joiner of unknown relationship to Amy. [1] William is listed as 15 years older than Amy, so possibly an older brother; probably too young to be her father. Maybe came to California for Gold Rush? Further research on William show his DOB about 1837 based on Voter Registration records so he is only about four years older than Amy.
