Biography
Guntheuc may have been of Burgundian origin and the granddaughter of Godegisel a King of Burgundy. She lived from 495 – c. 532 and) was the wife of Chlodomer, king of Orléans. She later married his brother Clothar I, king of Soissons. She probably had 3 children with her first husband (Gunthar, Theudebald, and Clodoald (later canonised Saint Cloud)) but her second husband killed the first two.[1]
