Biography

Loretta Aurore Riopel was born to Joseph Ernest Henri Riopel and Mary Louise Ayotte in Massachusetts in 1907. Her siblings included Willie ( died in infancy), Flore Marie L. B. Riopel ( m. Cyril Plante), Rose ( m. Alfred DuBois), Marie Florence ( died in infancy) and Yvonne Eva Marie A. E. ( m. Adolphus Riel and Forrest Wheeler).

Loretta married Louis Albert "Jimmy" Emond, son of Odias Emond and Agnes Lampron about 1931. They had two children; one is deceased and the other is still living.

Loretta was a lifelong resident of Massachusetts, living in and around the area of Worcester. She died there in 1970.
