Annie Jane (Slagle) Bowser was born in 1859 in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of Daniel Slagle (1822–1907) and Lucinda (Bowser) Slagle (1825–1903).

Annie had a sister, Mary Alice (Slagle) McCollim (about 1855–1935).

Annie died on 15 Jan 1922 in Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 62.[1] She was buried in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, Pennsylvania.

Annie married Thomas N. Bowser (born on 24 Apr 1859 in Pennsylvania). Their known daughter was Margaret May Belle (Bowser) Smith (1885–about 1946).
