Biography

Phillip Gemberling Sr was born 27 Jul 1773 the son of Jacob Gemberling and Catherine Wolfensberger. He married Eva Flass in 1793 and together they had the following children:

Information provided by Mary Jane Evertz: This is from the obit written in the Snyder County Tribune in 1890 of Joseph V.Gemberling, son of Philip and Eva Gemberling, talking about their differnet children who have died by accident. "The deceased (Joseph) was the fourth one to meet an accidental death. Frederick, by being thrown from a horse; Benjamin, drowned in a spring on the now Col. James K. Davis farm; Alfred, drowned in the canal near the waste weir, and the subject of this sketch."
