Biography
Joseph Shannon was born in Ireland.
Joseph was born 28 April 1875 in Cavanacaw, Omagh, County Tyrone, Ireland. He was the son of Henry Shannon of Cavanacaw, and Mary McGoldrick. [1]
As of 1911 he was age 35 living at Cavanacaw with parents Henry(78), Mary(73),and brother James(40). [2]
On 28 Oct 1919 he married Catherine McNabb of Dooish, daughter of William McNabb. Witnessess: John Mullin, Alice McNabb. [3]
He passed away 20 Jan 1952 age 76, Omagh district. [4] He is buried with wife and child Eileen at St Mary's Church Cemetery, Castlederg, Co. Tyrone. [5]

Birth/marriage record match as they both specify Cavanacaw, Co. Tyrone.
Death record match as the wife Catherine on the Findagrave also has correct age for Joseph's wife; also we scanned GRONI and there were no other Joseph nor Catherine with deaths matching age.
A GEDcom import gave birth date 14 Mar 1875. [6] I've put the Civil Registration record as higher prority unless the other source can be checked somehow. Sometimes the Irish Civil Registration birth dates are later than the real date as the parent didn't want to get fined for registering the birth too long after it happened.
